Here's what you need to do to get cash back for your home energy improvements.

It's as easy as A, B, C.

Hire a Participating Energy Advisor to perform a home energy audit and identify potential energy-saving improvements, including estimated costs and savings.
Decide which improvements you'd like to make and reserve an incentive using our Rebate Reservation Form (PDF). Average audit cost is $500; average efficiency improvement cost is $5,000-$10,000.

Hire a professional to make your pre-approved energy-saving improvements within 90 days of approval.

Submit your Project Completion Form (PDF).
Receive your incentive check — up to $1,500 if you're saving at least 25% on heating and hot water, and up to $3,000 if you're saving 50%. Unitil heating customers are eligible to receive even more.
Plus get up to $1,500 in federal energy efficiency tax credits.
