An Environmental Success Story

Environmental concerns are an increasingly significant factor
for businesses and their customers. Investment in energy efficient equipment is an extremely cost-effective strategy for reducing greenhouse gas emissions. As of the end of 2006, projects completed with help from the Efficiency Maine Business Program are reducing CO2 emissions from power plants that supply the New England grid by 36,339 tons each year. In terms of CO2 emissions, this is equivalent to removing 7,136 cars from the road. Working together we are making a difference.
