We have simplified our applications for prescriptive incentives to make them easier to complete. See our new, easy to follow "instructions" page on the front of each application. These instructions will help guide you easily through the necessary steps to completing and submitting your application as well as identifying when you need pre-approval and when you do not. If you

Submit Your Application Online:
You can submit your prescriptive incentive applications online. Just go to your own password-protected home page, click to open a new application form and fill it in. You can choose to save a partially completed form, or you can click "submit" and you're done. You'll receive an instant email informing you that the application was received.
NOTE: You still need to fax or email your product specification sheet and proof of purchase, as before.

Prescriptive Incentive Applications
The new prescriptive applications are available to download here and are available to all businesses. Note that each application's front instructions page details if pre-approval is needed. Also, Prescriptive incentive applications were updated in December 2007. If you already have applications on hand, please be sure that your application is current.
Pre-approval requirements for prescriptive applications are as such:
For Lighting and Refrigeration incentive applications over $1000, pre-approval is required.
For HVAC and VFD incentive applications, pre-approval is required.
For Motors and Agriculture incentive applications, no pre-approval is required.
Please note that old pre-established applications may be used for items purchased prior to February 1, 2007, but must be received by June 30, 2007 to be eligible for an incentive.
Custom Incentive Applications
Available to all businesses, proposals for these applications always require pre-approval by Efficiency Maine.

To receive an incentive from Efficiency Maine, tenants must receive approval from their landlord before any equipment is intalled on the landlord's property. Please complete the Landlord Consent Form and submit it along with your application(s).
