Weatherization for the Homeowner - Level 2
October 20, 20106:00 PM to 9:00 PM This course will expand on the “House as a System” concept, and teach advanced energy sciences. Students will learn how to properly weatherize the house to minimize heat losses. We will practice some of the techniques used by professionals, address some of the challenges, learn to select appropriate materials for the task at hand, and how to avoid mistakes that could create safety hazards in your home. This course will prepare the student to conduct a very effective weatherization project, and make the best use of their weatherization dollars. (3 hrs)
