Efficiency Maine Low-Income Programs

  • The Low-Income Appliance Replacement Program delivers thousands of energy-efficient refrigerators, freezers, and CFLs—which together can account for up to 20% of a home’s electric use—to low-income households.

Recycling

CFL Recycling

Efficiency Maine has enlisted over 200 retailers to help recycle CFLs, which should not be placed in the regular waste stream because they contain a small amount of mercury.
