Grants to Green Maine is a three-year grant program that provides funding and technical assistance to Maine nonprofit organizations to undertake energy audits and make efficiency investments in owned or occupied historic downtown buildings that serve as venues for cultural, civic, educational or residential activities.
Grants to Green Maine is a partnership between The Maine Community Foundation, Maine Development Foundation and Efficiency Maine. Join us at an upcoming webinar about the program and a discussion of the special challenges often inherent in historic building energy efficiency efforts. The training will guide building energy professionals in how to make recommendations that are in keeping with basic historic preservation standards.
Upon completion of the training, Qualified Partners will receive a Certificate of Training Completion and their names will be added to a list of auditors working in the Grants to Green program.
