Will a heat pump reduce my annual heating costs?

Chart assumes oil at $2.73 per gallon, propane at $2.67 per gallon, and electricity at $.16/kWh. Oil and propane boiler efficiencies are 83% and 86% respectively, as determined by the Efficiency Maine Residential Baseline Study.
