Incentives to Help Maine Homeowners Cut Their Energy Costs

Efficiency Maine will offer a limited number of incentives to homeowners* who install new, high efficiency ENERGY STAR^® products in their homes. This is a replacement program only. The homeowner must remove a similar piece of equipment and replace it with a new ENERGY STAR rated, efficient unit. This incentive is not available for new units being installed for the first time.

To apply for an incentive for the various qualifying heating and cooling products there are a few easy steps to follow.

It is a good policy to follow up on all online cash incentive requests with a phone call to Efficiency Maine, 1-866-376-2463, if you have not received your reservation number within 10 business days from the date you submitted the application. If you have submitted your application online, rather than by mail, you should receive a copy of your application along with a reservation number within the same day. *To be eligible, you must be a year round resident of Maine living in a single family home.
