This award was first conceived in 2005 as a way to honor Philip C. Hastings for his extraordinary commitment to energy efficiency and his leadership role as the founding director of Efficiency Maine. The Philip C. Hastings Award recognizes an individual or organization whose exemplary efforts have furthered Maine�s goals of energy efficiency and environmental enhancement.
