The Residential Wind Energy incentive is $1 per watt of capacity up to a maximum of $2,000.
The Commercial Wind Energy incentive is $1 per watt of capacity up to a maximum of $4,000.
How it Works

Confirm that your project meets minimum program requirements.

Reserve your rebate with a Rebate Reservation Form (PDF).

Install the new system within 120 days.

Submit a Rebate Claim Form (PDF).

Receive your rebate check within six weeks.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum available wind speed: Class II (4.4 meters per second, or 9.8 miles per hour).
- Minimum tower height at turbine hub: 66 feet for Class II wind; 50 feet for Class III wind.
- Tip of blade must be 30’ above any structure or tree within 250’ radius of tower.
