Efficiency Maine Green Bank Platform
Guide for Residential Registered Vendors
Efficiency Maine supports a suite of loan offerings for qualifying energy projects through its Efficiency Maine Green Bank. These loans and related financing tools complement Efficiency Maine rebates and other incentives to help make energy upgrades more affordable for and accessible to Maine consumers. These loans also help contractors and vendors sell qualifying energy projects. Click here to view available finance initiatives.
To make the loan process as simple as possible, Efficiency Maine has implemented a new, streamlined online lending platform for loan applications and servicing. This webpage serves as a guide for Residential Registered Vendors (RRVs) to learn about the new lending platform. For additional help and support, please contact info@efficiencymaine.com or call (866) 376-2463.
To ensure your call is routed to the appropriate representative:
- For RRVs: please clearly identify that you are an RRV inquiring about offering loans to your customers.
- For your customers: please have them clearly specify that they are inquiring about loans or financing.
How to Get Started
You must request an email invitation from Efficiency Maine to log in to the platform as a contractor. Efficiency Maine will send you an email containing the necessary login credentials and instructions.
Please follow one of the two pathways below to begin that process.
- If your company is not yet registered on the platform:
- Identify the intended administrator(s) of the platform for your company.
- Ask the administrator to contact us at info@efficiencymaine.com or (866) 376-2463 to request access to the platform.
- Ensure that your company properly follows the onboarding requirements described below.
- If your company is already registered within the platform, please contact the administrator in your company to have them add you as a user of the platform.
Contractors should follow the steps above to ensure that they are accessing the view of the platform specifically designated for contractors.
Contractors or customers can access the platform here.
