DIY Winter Prep
Rebate Up to $600
Get your home ready for winter and get 50% back up to a $600 rebate for do-it-yourself (DIY) weatherization projects (e.g., get a $600 rebate on a $1,200 purchase). Eligible products are weather stripping; door sweeps; window and door caulking; spray foam sealant; window inserts; window shrink film; pipe insulation; duct insulation; duct sealant; tank wrap; and foam board insulation.
Eligibility
- Products must be purchased between November 1, 2026 – March 31, 2027.
- Customers must commit to self-install in a Maine home within 30 days of purchase.
- Rebate claim form and receipts must be emailed or postmarked within 90 days of purchase. A copy of receipts showing purchase date, price, and product description must be attached to rebate claim form. On receipts, please circle or highlight products eligible for rebate.

This promotion is limited to $600 in total DIY Winter Prep Rebates per residential installation address. Sales tax not eligible for rebate. Businesses and new construction are not eligible. Products must be purchased new and installed in a Maine home. Efficiency Maine does not warrant product performance. Program is subject to change without notice. Please allow six weeks for rebate processing. Incomplete information may delay or disqualify your rebate.
