Efficiency Maine recently launched its most generous rebate yet for income-eligible owners of single-wide manufactured (mobile) homes. If you currently heat with propane or kerosene, you could receive a rebate of $12,900 for a new ducted heat pump system.
Projects must be pre-approved by Efficiency Maine and completed by one of the participating ducted heat pump installers below. Following the installation of a ducted heat pump, participants of the Manufactured (Mobile) Home Initiative have the option to take part in a fuel tank removal program. If they choose to do so, they may qualify for a rebate toward the removal of their existing oil or kerosene tank, provided the work is completed by a participating tank removal contractor.
