Public Level 2 Electric Vehicle Chargers
Efficiency Maine is offering $2.3 million to install and operate public Level 2 EV chargers at multifamily, business, and public properties through this competitive Request for Proposals (RFP). Efficiency Maine will reimburse awardees under this RFP up to 80% of total eligible project costs up to $12,000 per networked Level 2 port. A minimum of four ports per site is required, and the maximum incentive is $120,000 per site. Charger projects must be physically located in Maine, and the municipalities listed in section 3.1 of the RFP are the highest priority.
