RFP EM-004-2027
Public DC Fast Chargers: Phase 12
Efficiency Maine seeks qualified bidders to install and operate public DC fast chargers for electric vehicles (EVs) through this competitive Request for Proposals (RFP). Efficiency Maine will reimburse awardees under this RFP up to $900,000 per site. A minimum of one DC fast charging port is required. Charger projects must be physically located in select rural locations in Maine as described in section 1.2 of this RFP.
Funds for this RFP will come from the settlement of the New England Clean Energy Connect project. For the avoidance of doubt, the NEVI Standards do not apply to the projects funded through this RFP except to the extent that Efficiency Maine has explicitly incorporated those requirements by reference in certain sections of the RFP.
For full requirements and details, please read the RFP and its associated documents.
