 3:45 – 4:45 P.M.Ductless Heat Pumps & Heating Systems Usage Behavior

Presenter | Ian Burnes, Strategic Initiatives Team Leader

Join Efficiency Maine for a briefing on recent ductless heat pump studies from our state and around the region. These studies metered usage and analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of heating with heat pumps and central heating systems. The results of the studies might surprise you. Some Maine homeowners have not maximized savings from ductless heat pumps and are returning to their conventional heating when their ductless heat pump would be the more cost-effective choice. Yet other homeowners are “Super Users”, maximizing savings from their heat pumps. Learn more about the numbers behind ductless heat pump performance in Maine and join us for a discussion of how we can best educate customers on getting the most from their systems.
