License Required at Time of Purchase

This is a clarification that customers must have a current Maine driver’s license at the time of purchase in order to receive a rebate. We will not reimburse a rebate if the customer obtained a license after purchasing the vehicle. We are updating our program manual and website to be clearer on this point. A reminder that as of July 1, we now accept temporary Maine licenses.
