Please join Efficiency Maine for an information session to learn how whole-home heat pump systems can serve as a replacement for fossil fuel-fired Miller furnaces in manufactured (mobile) homes, and how this new opportunity can help grow your business.

The objective is to expand the sample size and test the use of a payment plan. We are targeting low-income manufactured homes and offer a no-money-down system upgrade. Efficiency Maine will offer a payment plan to the customer for the balance of the installation costs.

The pilot offers 80% off the cost of ducted whole-home heat pumps to homeowners in single-wide, owner-occupied manufactured homes. We are seeking heat pump installers to partner with Efficiency Maine in an expanded pilot where the installer will:

1. Submit all installation costs to Efficiency Maine for approval prior to install
2. Ensure customers sign all payment plan documents prior to install
3. Acknowledge heat pump will be sole source of heat at each residence and service calls are handled within 24 hours
4. Guarantee proper sizing and functioning for first 5 years of install
