Are You a Versant Power Company Customer Who Owns a Heat Pump?
If so, you may be able to lower your heating costs even more through Versant Power’s Residential Space Heating Service Rate.
You can save in two ways:
- Use your heat pump before your boiler or furnace.
- If you have not already signed up, ask Versant Power to switch your account to the special rate for heat pumps.
To calculate how much you may save, compare your current usage at the standard rate with the new heat pump rate. Simply click on the button below that corresponds with your district to calculate your savings. If you’re not sure which district you’re in, click on the Maine Public button if you live in Aroostook County or far northern Penobscot County. If you live in Hancock, Penobscot, Piscataquis, or Washington County, click on the Bangor Hydro button.
