Limit on governmental entity leases

In light of some very generous deals for leased electric vehicles, we have adjusted the limit on the number of rebates that Governmental Entities can receive for leased vehicles. The purpose of this change is to ensure that all government entities have an opportunity to take advantage of the generous offers from manufacturers and Efficiency Maine. Our EV rebate page has been updated to reflect the change:

• Maximum of 10 EV rebates per entity/organization per 12-month period, of which not more than 4 may be for leased EVs.

This will not affect rebates for purchased EVs. Government entities may still purchase EVs up to the limit of 10 and receive the full rebate.
