Participation Request for Municipal Lease Lenders

The Efficiency Maine Green Bank is working with local lenders to offer municipalities and public schools a way to finance the balance of project costs for energy efficiency upgrades through municipal leases. Interested borrowers start the process by completing the Municipal Lease Application and selecting one or more participating lenders from whom they wish to receive a proposal.

Local banks and credit unions that wish to participate in this finance initiative as a lender should complete and submit the form below:

Conditions for Application

Lender is capable and willing to provide a municipal lease to a Maine municipality or public pre-K − 12 school (or school district) under the Maine Department of Education.
Lender agrees to respond to all submissions from municipalities and schools within five business days.
Lender is a Maine lender with its headquarters and primary operations in the state of Maine.
Lender understands that the information provided in the participation request form may be made available publicly including but not limited to being visible on Efficiency Maine's web page(s).
