Maine Electric Vehicle (EV) DC Fast Charging — Host Site Interest Form
Phase 5 Request for Proposals
Efficiency Maine is offering this form for businesses and other commercial property owners (or tenants) who want to indicate their interest in hosting DC fast chargers for electric vehicles (EVs) on their property. By filling out this form, you are requesting that Efficiency Maine share your contact information with firms that provide EV charging equipment and services (vendors) with the expectation that these vendors may contact you regarding the development and operation of EV charging equipment at your site. You may also contact vendors of these services directly if you prefer. Click here for a list of vendors that provide EV charging equipment and services in Maine.
Efficiency Maine released the Phase 5 Request for Proposals (RFP) in early 2023 to fund the installation of DC fast chargers in select locations north of Portland on I-95 and US Route 1. For more details and to see which route segments are eligible, see the Phase 5 RFP webpage. This is the first in a series of funding solicitations that will deploy DC fast charging on major travel routes in Maine using funds from the National EV Infrastructure (NEVI) program over the next four years. To view the statewide plan outlining sites and routes that will be targeted in future rounds of funding, click here.
Submitting this form does not guarantee that a vendor will contact you or that your site will be selected for a grant, nor does it obligate you to pursue an EV charging project at your property. Interested host sites will need to work with a project team to submit a bid when the RFP is released.
